Thursday, March 19, AEDF had our first Business Mixer of the year, fueled by Congregation Coffee!
Local business owners, entrepreneurs and community leaders met over coffee and delicious pastries and made connections AEDF hopes will be beneficial to all. It is a part of our mission to uplift and bring together the community of Algiers.

2026 Quarterly Business Workshop – Spring
Wednesday, March 25, The Algiers Economic Development Foundation (AEDF) hosted an informative workshop led by the South Central Planning & Development Commission (SCPDC) designed to help small business owners access low-interest, flexible financing to start or expand their businesses.
During the workshop, participants learned about SCPDC’s Small Business Loan Program, which provides affordable capital to support key business needs, including working capital, equipment and machinery, property acquisition and improvements, renovations or build-out, professional fees, and startup expenses.
